He comes up with a pretty straightforward answer, which is, no, he doesn’t want that anymore. He takes a job in Miami working for a private security firm. Sometimes he is very central to things and very much an active team member. Other times, he is not. As for Madeline, a lot of what Michael is comes from Madeline, and she gets the chance this year to participate much more actively in the stuff that they’re doing. This year, we see the first Madeline-centric case, which is not to say that it’s all her, all the time, but she is the one with the real relationship with the bad guy in the episode. That was really interesting for us. It’s someone she comes to know over the course of the episode. On Tuesday, June 7th, White Collar (98c) and Covert Affairs (109c) return with all new seasons. On Thursday, June 23rd, Burn Notice is back for Season 5, at 98c, followed by Suits at 10pm – a new series about one of Manhattan’s top corporate lawyers (Gabriel Macht) who sets out to recruit a new hotshot associate and hires the only guy that impresses him – Patrick J. Adams (Lost, Friday Night Lights), as Mike Ross, a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout. Though he isn’t actually a lawyer, this legal prodigy has the book smarts of a Harvard law grad and the street smarts of a hustler. Then on Wednesday, June 29th, Royal Pains is back (98c) and followed by Necessary Roughness at 10pm – a series about a tough, sexy Long Island divorcee Callie Thorne (Rescue Me, Californication) who gets a job as therapist for a professional football team in order to make ends meet. Underestimated at every turn, she succeeds beyond all expectations and soon finds herself as the sought-after therapist to high-profile clients. James Frain is good at being bad, and EW brings word that the face of Franklin Mott on HBO’s True Blood will soon be making trouble for agent Michael Westen on USA’s Burn Notice, although it won’t be the vampirish kind of trouble. Frain shows up in the ninth episode of Burn Notice’s fifth season as the owner of a pharmaceutical company that will do anything to protect the company’s secrets. If you’re not a True Blood fan and Frain still looks familiar, then you might have seen him on Showtime’s The Tudors or NBC’s short-lived The Cape. If that lame super-hero show was your first meeting with Frain, then you really do owe it to yourself to see what he can do in a show that’s actually good. Frain won’t be the only new face popping into Michael’s life.
